Taxi Service in Western Sydney
From the new estates around Marsden Park to the foot of the mountains at Emu Plains, our Western Sydney taxis cover a lot of ground. Our drivers know where the M4 and M7 save you time, and where they don't.
A Western Sydney taxi that knows the distances
Western Sydney is not one place. Blacktown, Penrith and Liverpool are each a city centre in their own right, with their own hospitals, shopping centres and train lines, and the drive between two of them can take longer than a run into the CBD.
Silver Sydney Taxi takes pre-booked and same-day trips right across the region, 24 hours a day. Sedans and SUVs handle most trips, and our maxi cabs seat up to 11 for a family airport run or a team heading to training.
New streets in Marsden Park and Schofields keep appearing, sometimes faster than sat-nav maps catch up. Add a cross street or a landmark in Special Instructions on the booking form and your driver will find you first time.
We never use surge pricing, so your fare doesn't climb just because half of Penrith wants a ride home on a Friday night.
Where our Western Sydney passengers go
Hospital appointments, weekend outings, game days and flights. These are the trips we book again and again.
Hospitals across the west
Nepean Hospital in Kingswood, Blacktown Hospital, Mount Druitt Hospital and Liverpool Hospital. Tell us the entrance or department for drop-off. For discharge pickups, call us once you know when to expect the all clear and we will arrange a car.
Sydney Zoo
At Bungarribee in the Western Sydney Parklands, right beside the M7 and the Great Western Highway. Easier when nobody has to drive home tired.
Westfield Penrith
Big shops and dinner in central Penrith, with room in the boot for the bags.
Penrith Lakes
Regattas and early training sessions at the Sydney International Regatta Centre, built for the 2000 Olympics. Rowing starts early, so book the night before.
Penrith Panthers home games
Book your ride home before kick-off and agree a pickup point a short walk from the ground, away from the crowd and any closed streets.
Western Sydney University
Classes, exams and graduations at the Penrith campus and the other university sites across the west.
The new airport at Badgerys Creek
Flying from Western Sydney International (Nancy-Bird Walton) Airport? Book it like any airport transfer, with your flight number, and we plan the pickup around it.
Day trips to the Blue Mountains
Cross the river at Emu Plains, climb Lapstone Hill on the Great Western Highway, and the mountains open up village by village. In a taxi, everyone gets to enjoy the view.
- Echo Point and Scenic World in Katoomba
- The cafes and shops along Leura Mall
- Wentworth Falls and its lookouts
- Govetts Leap at Blackheath, looking over the Grose Valley
Choose Return on the booking form with a morning drop-off and an afternoon pickup point. The highway slows through the mountain villages and fog is common higher up, so give yourself extra time. Travelling as a group? A maxi cab keeps everyone together.
Travel times from Western Sydney
Off-peak estimates by road. Weekday peaks on the M4, M5 and M7 can add a lot, so allow a buffer for flights.

From the M4 to the M7, and every back road between
The M4 is the backbone of the west. West of Parramatta it is toll free all the way to the Nepean River, and on a clear run it is the quickest way between Penrith, St Marys, Mount Druitt and Blacktown. Closer to the city it joins WestConnex, which is tolled.
The M7 links the M5 near Liverpool with the M4 at Eastern Creek and the M2 in the Hills. It is a toll road too, but for Liverpool to Blacktown or Quakers Hill it usually beats crawling along local roads.
The Great Western Highway runs beside the M4 through Prospect, St Marys and Kingswood, close to Nepean Hospital, before crossing the river into Emu Plains. When the motorway is blocked, that is often our way around.
Then there are the trains. When weekend trackwork puts buses on the Western Line, or a late train is cancelled, a booked taxi from Blacktown, Mount Druitt or Penrith station is often the simplest way home.
