Getting around Castle Hill
Castle Hill grew up along Old Northern Road, and that road is still the spine of the place. Castle Towers takes up the northern side. Castle Mall, the smaller centre, is on the southern side by Terminus Street, and the bus interchange is on Old Northern Road. Since 2019 the Metro has run underneath, with a pedestrian tunnel from the station straight into Castle Towers.
The town centre is busy. The streets behind it are not. Much of Castle Hill is curving residential roads off Showground Road, Castle Hill Road and Old Northern Road, and plenty of homes are a long walk from any bus stop. That is where most of our bookings start: early flights, a ride home from Castle Towers with the week's shopping, or a lift to the station when it is pouring.
Sedans and SUVs carry up to four. A maxi taxi seats up to 11 for a family holiday or a team event, and child seats are fitted when you ask. Every trip is quoted upfront with tolls and GST included, and there is no surge pricing on a wet Saturday.
Castle Towers
Castle Towers is one of the largest shopping centres in Australia, with more than 5,000 car spaces over its levels. Its address is Castle Street, it faces Old Northern Road, and the Metro tunnel brings you in from Old Castle Hill Road. Tell us if you are near a department store, the food court or Event Cinemas and we will agree the closest place for the driver to stop.
Two Metro stations, one suburb
Castle Hill has two stations on the Metro North West and Bankstown Line. Castle Hill station is the one under the town centre, between Cherrybrook and Hills Showground. Hills Showground station is on Showground Road beside the showground itself, one stop closer to Norwest. If you are being collected, tell us which of the two you are at.
Castle Street and the RSL
Castle Hill RSL is at 77 Castle Street, further along the street from Castle Towers. For a club dinner or a function, book the ride home when you arrive, or call us once you know when you'll be ready to leave.
